Are you the fountain or the drain?

Put yourself in the position of observation.  People fall generally into two categories and there are a couple of ways to define this.

Most people are either battery chargers or battery drainers. Think about a battery.  Are you somebody who charges it up and is full of energy, full of life, full speed ahead all the time?  Are you somebody that tends to drain down a little bit?

Are you surrounding yourself by people who are battery chargers or battery drainers?  Are you around people who are fountains or drains?  If you’re around battery drainers you want to limit your time spent with them obviously and you want to make sure that you never fall into that category. There is not much in between ground here you’re either one or the other.

In real estate many times Monday’s are tough days. You’ve been negotiating all weekend, a lot of stuff happens.  You have things to resolve, a lot of agents take Friday, Saturday and off on Sunday then get back to work so you always have full voicemail and you’ve got feedback calls to return.  Monday is a critical day.

If you can maintain a positive mindset all Monday that’s going to set you up for an extremely productive and critical week.

Write down one thing the most productive thing you can do today.  If you’re not sure what it is, ask yourself if that’s all I do today, will it be a productive day? Let’s make sure you’re moving forward, bringing in income for yourself, your family and prioritize.  If that’s the one thing let’s focus on that and let nothing get in your way.
