Tim & Julie, Thanks for the Warning! I love your style and passion but I’m shocked that you put this on your website. This link was beautifully choreographed, but I don’t think you should expose your students to a one sided arguement. Both sides could cook up a video like that. Oprah proved to everyone that politics and business don’t mix. I watch CNBC all day and I see all the spinning. I’m not a yes guy and I have a mind of my own. We all know they play games in Washington and we all get hurt( Repubs and Dems ).We know one thing is for sure, the people will decide on Tuesday Nov 4th, 2008. Thank you for having the courage to post this. Should we be discussing politics? ABSOLUTELY! Our country is at great peril. Most Americans are unaware of the fact that we are well on our way to full-blown socialism, if obama is elected. Obama has deep, verifiable, personal associations with some very undesirable people that go back to before he was in college. This great country was not built to be a “Nanny State”. Our father and grandfathers would be ashamed of what we have become. It is time to take back our country! Who is with me?

it is a limited narrow viewpoint meant to lay blame on a particular party and sway votes.
i dont consider the video to be much more than propaganda.
i have read articles explaining the role of the community reinvestment act. it was designed to help rebuild cities after riots and earthquakes in california and used in new orleans after katrina. the abuses were not perpetrated by the individuals trying to get ahead and own a home. the damage was done by those on top trying to get richer. bundling the risky securities and reselling them. this is where the real damage was done. people on the bottom need help and people on the top, of all political affiliations, are the ones to blame. i am a sub-prime borrower, but i am not part of the community reinvestment act. that may be where it all started but i belive it is now a small piece of the bubble. i believe people like me, are the bigger piece. what party do you think i belong to? and no i am not defaulting.
