Good Morning Coach Tim Harris!!

My name is Zachary Zeek and I am a HREU Coaching Student living and working in the Salem/Portland, Oregon area….Here’s my story!

The thing was, it was actually an accident.

I have been a real estate broker in the Salem, Oregon area for about seven years…Like many other agents in this area, I had been successful in the extended hot run over the past few years.  In August of 2007 my fortunes began to change.  Since I had always worked for small companies with very little support, my business really fell off, and quickly—way before most other agents in the area!!  The small company I worked for decided to close it’s doors in June of 2007 and I found myself looking for a new place to hang my shingle.

—for the first time in my brokering life, I decided to GET SOME HELP—I WAS TIRED OF FAILING.  I had always felt that a downturn in the market would result in big opportunities for good brokers….I never realized that my lack of experience would leave me so unorganized and with little concise direction…

I had negotiated a number of short sales in the past—self taught, using many of the techniques you are now teaching…and with foreclosures & distressed sales on the rise, my broker and I zeroed in on this segment of the market for me to make my “comeback.”  Somewhere along the line, I had received an email about HREU—something offering Agent Short Sale Secrets—for free…I decided to log on, for curiosity sake—just wanted to see what other people were doing/talking about…

That’s when it happened….I became a Agent Short Sale Secrets coaching student

In the weeks to follow, I have made numerous contacts that now refer any short sale activity to me….including brokers at other companies that don’t want/don’t know how to handle the business…my business is now moving again!!

It’s funny how things turn out—all this time, all the financial stress, and all it took was a little mistake on my part to get things moving again….can you imagine the odds???

That’s it, the whole ball of wax, you’ve heard it….

PS—I hope that my story gets considered—I’m on the west coast, I’m sure many other students have already sent in their stories before I began working this morning!!!  And, when can I get some personal coaching, I’m ready now… J

Thanks,  Zach Zeek
