The home “value” stats are taken solely from zestimates, which are only estimates of home values– in fact, they are admittedly just “starting points”. Thus, IMO, it can not be said that these are statistics for home “values”. Values are determined by sales. Sorry to get technical about this but I think folks ought to know the difference between a house value and a house estimate.
thank you for clarifying–it’s some data to ue, and it’s something to go on. I think that Zilow does a good job.
