Which Laptop Should I Buy?
Si
nce Agent Technology Secrets launched, I’ve been flooded with emails asking for advice on what laptop to get. And, the answer right now is this: Cheap. Seriously. There is less difference between a $400 laptop and a $1,000 laptop in terms of what the software can do for you than there ever has been.
A $400 laptop can watch–and edit–video . A $400 laptop can store all the songs you want, and run your database, connect to the web and do all you need to do. They have plenty of memory, even for Vista, and so you won’t have to worry about running out of computing power.
Plus, if it only lasts 2 years, it won’t be a heartbreak. Right now, Windows 7 is preparing for launch, and that will mean that a new generation of computers is coming. So bottom line–for a Social Media Realtor–you need a laptop that has the following minimum specs:
- 3gb Memory.
- 100gb hard drive
- Speed of 2.0 GHZ with any processor (1.6 might be too slow).
- Bluetooth & A webcam.
That’s the minimum, and then the biggest choice you have to make is a Netbook vs. A full size. A netbook will get you by and be ultra mobile, a full size will be more comfortable for longer times.
Here are some links to laptops available TODAY for Realtors for under $500. You won’t go wrong with any of ‘em:
