New Home Sales Nose Dive 33% | Worst New Home Sales Since 1981

Submitted by Tim Harris on June 23, 2010 – 1:07 pmOne Comment | Popularity: 1% [?]

Worst new home sales….in decades.

How bad? Get this, May new home sales dropped by nearly 33%. Lowest housing numbers EVER were in 1981…and its predicted that this past May’s numbers will be the worst…ever.

Not a great time to be a new home builder.

Agents, this does not bode well for the upcoming existing home sales numbers. Expect to see equally bad reports coming out about re-sell homes for June and July.
