For agents representing high-end buyers in New York, a new listing could be the right space to live the rock star lifestyle … literally. Your clients could be livin’ on a prayer in a West Village duplex owned by Jon Bon Jovi.

The rocker purchased the 4,031-square-foot property in the 150 Charles Street condo building two years ago for $12.95 million. It is now listed by the Robby Browne Team at Corcoran for $17.25 million.

The West Village is a neighborhood in Manhattan, primarily western portion of the larger Greenwich Village neighborhood.

The 150 Charles Street building was built in 2013 and overlooks the Hudson River and Hudson River Park.  It is 15 stories and features 91 units that are individually designed in one of the most desirable locations in New York.  The property, a full service doorman/concierge condominium, was developed by Cook + Fox Architects.

The building has become somewhat of a celebrity haven, with famous residents including Ben Stiller, Irina Shayk and Hard Rock Cafe founder Peter Morton. Features and amenities, including a complete service staff, private covered driveway and parking, 75-foot lap pool and sweeping views across the city and waterfront, spectacularly redefine downtown living.

Bon Jovi’s unit wraps around two corners and includes three or four bedrooms, including a room that could double as a guest suite. There are 4.5 bathrooms. It also features floor-to-ceiling double pane casement windows in every room that take full advantage of the view and provide ample natural lighting throughout the apartment.

The downstairs area features a living room, dining room, kitchen with state-of-the-art appliances and a sleek look with wood paneling. An office/library and expansive 1,500-square-foot landscaped garden complete the area. A landscaped terrace off the entertaining rooms of the apartment offers a great view and is a perfect outdoor space for additional entertaining or relaxing.

The apartment also features an entry gallery with staircase and wall of windows that leads to the great room with fireplace on the Hudson River and direct access to terrace. Other rooms include the custom kitchen and dining room that overlooks the garden.

In the private areas on the upper level of the duplex are three spacious and bright bedroom suites. A master bedroom faces south with open views to the Hudson River and the Freedom Tower and north onto a terrace. The master bath features a double vanity, soaking tub, glass-enclosed stall shower. A wall of windows is adjacent to a large walk-in closet. The second corner bedroom is wrapped in casement windows and the third south facing bedroom includes a small balcony – both with ensuite baths.

High ceilings add to the open feel of the duplex. Finishing touches were designed by Alan Wanzenberg.

There is a garage under the building with direct access to the apartments.
