It took them a while to close the deal but Sting and Trudie Styler sold their Central Park penthouse for approximately $50M this late spring.

They’ve since rented a high floor, terraced apartment in a High Line-adjacent building at 520 West 28th Street until their new, already purchased apartment is completed in this same building. Designed by the highly acclaimed, late architect Zaha Hadd, this ultra-lux futuristic building offers its residents a robotic car parking server, a 75’ sky-lit lap pool, a 24-hour juice bar and a highly enviable, reserve-able spa suite featuring a plunge pool, sauna, steam pool, hot tub and rain shower.

No specifics are yet available about the Sting-Styler unit itself, its amenities, its price. Rentals for units in the building range from approximately $15,000 – +$20,000/month.

In addition to this new apartment, Sting and Styler own a truly historic townhouse in London that was built in 1700, a beach house in Malibu (sometimes available as a rental) and a sprawling estate and acreage in Tuscany.

Sting and Styler had lived at their Central Park West penthouse for which they paid $27M since 2008. The unit occupies the 16th and 17th floors and offers stunning views from a 44’ X 9’ terrace on the lower level. Also on the lower level are a to-die-for chef’s kitchen with a glass enclosed breakfast nook, library and formal dining room. The three bedrooms and bathrooms, all en-suite, live on the upper level. The master bedroom has over sized windows to capture breathtaking city/park views, two dressing rooms and a sitting room.
