Collette is often quoted in the local media, including the AJC, as an industry expert. From 2013-2016, Collette was also the Official REALTOR® of The Atlanta Falcons, helping players and staff find their dream homes in and around Atlanta.
She and her family live in Brookhaven, where she enjoys strong ties to the community. For example, prior to serving as the District 1 Planning Commissioner for DeKalb County, Collette served on the Board of Zoning Appeals for the district.
Collette is also a founding member of the Ashford Alliance Community Association (AACA) that initially represented more than 25,000 area households, and she sits on the board of the Brookhaven Police Foundation that serves to give back to the people who protect and serve the community.
She operates a free, nonprofit health and fitness program called Recession Free BC, using Brookhaven’s parks, fields, sidewalks and streets to encourage health and fitness – her unique way of giving back to the community.
