Real Estate Agent 2022 Action Plan
1 – Check on your pending transactions set to close the last 2 weeks of December or the first week of January and close them early if possible. Christmas and New Year’s Day are both on a Saturday, but Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve are on Fridays, which will mean no one closes on those days! Avoid delays with smarter scheduling.
2 – Resolve all financing, inspection, possession, and appraisal issues immediately on your pending transactions. This is how you should always operate, not just during the holidays, but especially during the holidays. The issues don’t get better when you procrastinate them. Communicate regularly with these clients so they don’t cancel on you due to their own holiday stress!
3 – Send Christmas or Holiday cards to all your pending clients, coming soon listing clients, anyone who referred business to you, including other Realtors.

4 – Do your final holiday pop-by gifts to 30 past clients and most important people in your center of influence. Be sure to include anyone who has referred business to you, or tried to refer business to you, even if it didn’t work out.
5 – In this last month of the year, decide when you’ll be ‘on’ and when you’ll be ‘off’. It’s ok to take time off, but it’s inefficient and stressful to be half in and half out. Decide what your workdays are what your play days are and mark them in your schedule.
6 – Get your Real Estate Treasure Map completed. This will establish goals in five areas of life (Family, Financial, Physical, Spiritual, and Educational) as well as your specific production goals, your ideal daily schedule, and your sources of business. This is your business plan and gets you in control.
