Sanford said that building his uniquely agent-centric business model required him “to stand my ground defending the base tenants of the model.”
Sanford is committed to being an active listener and a “champion of agents” in order to “…be on the forefront of understanding the macro-economic environment, housing landscape and real estate trends impacting agent.”

Percentage of Business Growth due to Recruiting/Agent Productivity and to Mergers and Acquisitions?
Since 2016, Sanford has put all of his eggs into the basket of organic growth by recruiting and increasing agent productivity.
Main Focus for Growth Going Forward?
Sanford continues his focus on agent growth domestically and internationally. His goal for 2022 is to increase agent/broker numbers to over 100,000 via the firm’s agent value proposition model. Sanford also points to strategic investments in technology, coaching and education.
Sanford is optimistic about eXp’s ability to thrive through 2022 and into 2023 despite challenging headwinds that affect the housing market.
