Clearly, T3 Sixty held a different position from that of RISMedia concerning its top ranking of Compass. RISMedia had removed Compass from its 2022 Power Broker Report because Compass had included commercial real estate transactions with its residential transactions. RiSMedia has a residential only policy.
T3 Sixty’s report counteracted RISMedia’s policy by stating, “The inclusion of small and infrequent commercial sales is often included in the reporting by certain large residential real estate enterprises where such inclusion is immaterial. T3 Sixty separately reviews those numbers, and if they are found to be significant or will impact the rankings, those numbers are removed.”
Obviously, T3 Sixty determined Compass’ commercial sales to be insignificant whereas RISMedia disagreed and thought its commercial sales were significant.
