Here are three of the latest tech companies leveraging their businesses to respond to the needs and challenges of real estate practices during and post-COVID.
SimpleNexus recently announced enrichments to its integration with Optimal Blue to enable loan originators to lock in loan pricing from anywhere with their mobile devices. SimpleNexus COO Ben Miller said, “Loan pricing can change throughout the day with little advance warning, especially in today’s turbulent market. The ability to rapidly lock a loan from a mobile device…(translates into) more effectively manag(ing) high volume and clos(ing) more deals.”
Aspen Grove Solutions hopes to aid the now +4.5M homeowners in forbearance and mortgage servicers alike with its forbearance processing technology, the Homeowner Forbearance Module. The company indicated, “The Homeowner Forbearance Module helps take the strain off call centers by directing borrowers to complete their application online, then by tracking that application through the process.” Plug-in widgets and customizable forms gather, process and track applications directly from the bank/servicer’s website.
Lastly, CoreLogic announced its newest real estate platform, OneHome, to enhance collaboration among real estate agents and their clients. This platform encompasses AI search engines, a virtual marketplace, property and casualty insurance and home improvement options. Frank Martell, president and CEO of CoreLogic, said, “As (CoreLogic) expands our reach into home marketing services and (we) leverage our national footprint, CoreLogic is excited to bring a high impact and innovative solution that significantly improves the home buying experience for consumers, real estate agents and other stakeholders in the home marketing, selection and buying process.”
