2 – What does your profile LOOK like you’re looking for? Are you a fisherman or a Realtor? Are you an investor or are you a broker? Both?  Does your ‘side hustle’ show up ahead of your profession?  Pretend you’re a homeowner thinking about selling your home and your name has come up.  What will they see when they search you online?

3 – Do you monitor your different assets or did you ‘set it and forget it’?

4 – Do you have any unfinished profiles? Shadow pictures and haven’t posted an update since 2018?

5 – Do you have any ‘CTA’s’? Calls to action. Are you offering a free competitive market analysis or a confidential consultation?  You may be posting lots of great information but not asking the viewer to actually communicate with you.

6 – Are you weird about being a sales professional? No one will promote you except YOU.  

Offline Moments of Truth to monitor and polish:

1 – Call your own mobile number.  Do you sound friendly, approachable, and professional or did you record that message while you were driving with an ambulance in the background and a screaming kid?  Would YOU leave a message for you?

2 – Your sign.  Remember that your real estate sign is one of your most important moments of truth.  Have you ‘hot-rodded’ it as we outlined in a previous podcast?  Is it easy to reach you, or does your prospect have to get out of their car to scan a QR code or navigate your office’s voicemail tree just to get the price on the house?

3 – Your car.  Yes, this matters.  If you put a buyer in your car to take them to see the listing they’re dying to buy, are they impressed, or do they wonder what that unidentifiable smell is?

4 – Your handshake, haircut, glasses, and attire.  First impressions can make you or break you, so spend some time upgrading everything.
