Comparatively, eXp Realty’s business model is more cost effective and efficient than its brokerages peers, according to real estate tech wizard, Mike delPrete. (Please read our companion article entitled “eXp Has BIG Business Model Advantage” also posted this week.)
eXp’s operating expenses per transaction total $691. Realogy’s expenses per transaction total $7,958; Redfin’s expenses per transaction adds up to $8,560; Compass’s expenses/transaction total is $8,808; and Douglas Elliman’s total $9,738.
Acquisition of Zoocasa Realty & Zoocasa.com
On June 20, 2022, eXp World Holdings announced the pending acquisition of Zoocasa Realty and Zoocasa.com.
Zoocasa is an award-winning consumer real estate search portal and brokerage based in Toronto. The company offers an all-in-one intelligent, scalable listings platform that provides a seamless home search experience, market insights and a connection to local real estate experts.
The platform currently has approximately 12M annual visits and 150 in-house real estate agents.
The acquisition of Zoocasa strengthens eXp Realty’s lead generation, home search and listings portal solutions in Canada.

SUCCESS Adding Enhanced Coaching Platform
