One of our favorite topics to talk about with our loyal listeners is mindset. But, not how you’re normally used to hearing about it. For us, mindset isn’t about sitting around in yoga pants all day visualizing or manifesting, but in taking real action to make the goals and dreams we wrote down, a reality. For so many agents, the thought about what it will take to make all those goals come to pass is really painful. Why is that? After two decades of coaching, we’ve found that the gap between where you are now and where you need to go in order to have the lifestyle you’ve imagined is not as big and cumbersome as you think.
Yesterday, we talked about the 3:1 ratio and the reality that once you know how much your current monthly lifestyle costs, you need three times that number to make the leap to the lifestyle you really want. What’s the catch? Well, you need to hit that number consistently!
The next number that we talk about on todays show answers the question, “I’m currently averaging ‘x’ number of deals?’ Ask yourself if that number is working for you or not. It may be. You may be focusing on other aspects of your business and growth isn’t really on your radar right now. But if that number isn’t working for you, there’s a few things you’ll need to accept before being ready for the next step:
First, keep a mindset of service. This will always produce energy that will draw people to working with you. When your job is about being of service (others oriented) instead of ‘following your passion’ (you centered), you always win! The second thing you’ll have to accept is our favorite mantra, “Do what you don’t want to do, when you don’t want to do it, at the highest level possible.” Still want that lifestyle leap?
